Revenue Officer Assistance

The IRS system is complicated. IRS Revenue Officers are highly trained in the skills of collecting back taxes. Armed with an extensive arsenal of collection weapons including liens, levies, garnishments and seizures, the Revenue Officer is the last person you want appearing on your doorstep when you have an IRS problem. Acting promptly to resolve an IRS problem is one of the smartest things a taxpayer can do to avoid the assignment of a Revenue Officer to the case. But should one attempt to contact you, by all means, do not ignore them. If you ignore them they can and often will appear at your home with no prior notice. They may attempt to contact your family members or neighbors. Or worse, they will appear unannounced to your place of employment. One thing you should know is that they are not going away until you have some sort of resolution plan in place.
